We mainly went for the dolphin show, and it was decent, but it felt a little short and really crowded. The kids enjoyed it, so that was nice, but I was expecting a bit more for the price. The zoo itself was clean though, which I appreciated.

"Fun stop at the zoo"
Well... we visited the butterfly garden at the Indianapolis Zoo and really enjoyed it. There were so many butterflies flying around, and a few landed close to us, which the kids thought was awesome. I’m giving it 4 stars because it did feel a bit crowded, and we had to move through faster than I would’ve liked. Still, it’s a really nice stop and definitely worth checking out if you’re already at the zoo.

"Fun Night Seeing the Holiday Lights"
The holiday lights were really and the whole area was easy to walk around. It did get a bit crowded, but my sister and I still had a really nice time with the family. Definitely a fun way to spend the evening.

"Trust Your Gut, the Kids Will Love It"
I took my 6 and 9 year old, i had a good feeling about it from the start. My instinct was right because they had the best time. Between the dolphin show, the playground areas, and the little rides, they were busy pretty much the whole day. Snacks and bathrooms were easy to find too, which makes a big difference with kids. We left completely worn out but happy, and that’s basically the sign of a great zoo day.

"Pretty straightforward once you get going"
I was assuming it might be a bit of a hassle, since ticket sites usually follow the same confusing pattern, but this was actually easy to use. I found the tickets without much trouble and didn’t have to click around forever.

"Clean zoo, just a little crowded"
So... we had a good visit to the zoo. It was cleaner than I expected, even the bathrooms were in good shape. The walkways looked well taken care of, and I didn’t notice much trash around, which was nice. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because a few areas felt a bit crowded, but overall it was a good experience.

"Great day at the zoo, even with the crowds"
We had a really nice visit to the Indianapolis Zoo. The staff were super friendly and helped us find a couple of spots we were looking for. One worker spent probably 5 or 10 minutes answering my kid’s questions, which I really appreciated. I’d give it 4 stars only because a few areas felt packed, especially around the popular exhibits, but the people working there definitely made the experience better.

"Fun Visit, Just Be Ready for Food Lines"
We had a really nice time at the Indianapolis Zoo. Getting in was quick, which I think most visitors would appreciate, especially if you’re going with kids. The only thing to keep in mind is that the food lines were longer than we expected, so other customers might want to plan a little extra time for meals or snacks. Overall though, it was still a good experience and not too bad at all.

"Cute little stop after the zoo"
I really liked the gift shop after our zoo visit. They had a bunch of cute animal-themed stuff, like shirts, toys, and little gifts. The prices seemed reasonable too, at least compared to what I was expecting.

"Nice zoo, but the lines were a lot"
We had a decent time at the Indianapolis Zoo, but it was way more crowded than I was expecting. A few of the paths felt really packed, and we spent a lot of the visit just standing around in queues waiting to get closer to some of the animals. The food lines were long too, which got a little frustrating after a while. It’s still a nice place and worth visiting, but it definitely wasn’t as relaxing as I hoped with that many people there

"A little pricey, but probably worth it"
The tickets felt a bit expensive to me, though I don’t have a ton to compare them against. Still, based on my experience, I’d say it ended up feeling worth it overall.

"Worth it, but the info could be clearer"
We got the family membership and used it a ton. Between the parking and being able to come back for repeat visits, it definitely paid for itself. My only annoyance was that some of the communication around the benefits and how things worked wasn’t very clear, so we had to figure a few things out as we went. Still, overall it was worth the price for our family

Parking was easy, which I appreciated. That said, a few things about the experience left me feeling a little less trusting overall, so I’m not sure I’d feel completely confident coming back.

"Fun family day at Indianapolis Zoo"
We had really nice family day at Indianapolis Zoo. It was easy walking around with the kids, and there was enough stuff to keep them busy most of the time. Food was little pricey and some spots got crowded, but overall it was fun and the place felt clean. The dolphin show was probably favorite part for us. I’d go again

"I remember having such a nice day at..."
I remember having such a nice day at the Indianapolis Zoo. The animal exhibits were really easy to wander through, and my kids were especially excited about the dolphins, orangutans, and big cats. A few spots got a little crowded from what I recall, but it didn’t take away from the day. Overall, it was a really fun visit and definitely worth going.
